The short version

What visitors say about Ace & Vine

Ace & Vine is a restaurant and bar with a small card room attached, in the Lincoln Avenue building many Napa locals still call Compadres. Reviewers spend most of their words on the setting and the food: decks by the river, outdoor seating with a fire pit, and a menu with Asian fusion dishes that fans call creative and others call expensive for the portions. Many food reviews are years old, and the kitchen's record is uneven, with complaints about undercooked burgers and a chewy steak.

The gaming room is modest. Players mention hold'em on Friday nights, blackjack, baccarat and three card poker. Service is the persistent complaint, with long waits for a server or a drink. Staff are strict about who gets served, which has turned a couple of guests away, and a few blackjack players grumble that the dealer seems to win too often.

Phenomenal service, dynamic menu offerings and outstanding food presentation, flavor and creativity. This is a place you do not want to pass up. Try options from each course and step outside of your comfort zone with the Asian fusion options. You won't regret it.

The setting on river is great, miss previous restaurant, food is tasty price is high for meal, over 20 for 4 pot stickers like appetizer and fried rice. The wagu burger for over 20$ had spicy sauce which took away if really wagu beef. Server very nice.
