Grand Lake and the Miami corner
Five tribes run casinos around Miami, the Ottawa County seat in the far northeast corner of Oklahoma on Interstate 44. The biggest is the Peoria Tribe's Buffalo Run Casino & Resort by exit 313, which has a hotel, an RV resort and a large event venue. The Quapaw Nation's Quapaw Casino reopened in a rebuilt building in early 2026 with a restaurant and an RV park, while High Winds Casino (Ottawa Tribe, east of town on Highway 10), Prairie Moon Casino (Miami Nation) and The Stables Casino (Modoc Nation, with a bar that books live music) are smaller casinos without hotels.
How the ranking works. Venues are ordered by their Google rating, weighted by how many people left one: every rating is blended with a neutral 4.0 as if the venue had 200 more reviews at 4.0, so a 4.6 from thousands of reviews ranks above a 5.0 from a dozen. Sponsorship has no effect on the order. Ratings last checked October 2026.
