The short version
Across the parking lot from Cherokee Casino Roland, this travel plaza is a full truck stop with showers, laundry and a drivers' lounge, plus a small gaming parlor of its own. Reviewers say it's cleaner than most, and the store is packed with snacks, drinks and beer. Several regulars go out of their way to thank the overnight crew, and semis and RVs have room to park.
Service swings from shift to shift, and a run of reviews describes clerks who were short, sleepy or unhelpful, including over a shower that ran only hot and a long wait for showers to be cleaned. The gaming room gets little praise; the few players who mention it found the machines tight or broken.

Hi Candace! Thanks for taking the time to give us a great review!
The man working 7/8/2026 at 4am was rude and apparently into making threats, talking mess, acting out and body shaming. Personally, I do not think he should be threatening and body shaming anyone who comes in your store. This is not the first time he was rude. A while back he jumped on me for using 69 cents in change…
Thank you for taking the time to write us a review. We have shared this review with management for resolution and apologize for the inappropriate behavior and inconvenience.
Always very friendly staff. Bathrooms are always clean and the store is as well. Large volume of snacks and drinks to pick from. The third shift lead lady is very friendly. The young man up front is very nice. If passing thru stop in.
Thank you for this amazing review, Donna!
