The short version

What visitors say about Grand Lake Casino

Grand Lake Casino is a smaller place open all night, a short drive from the lake, with a separate lodge a couple of miles up the road that some guests book on stay and play deals. Players club staff get warm reviews for explaining the games and signing up newcomers, bathrooms are kept clean, bands play some nights, and a few table games run alongside the slots. Promotions are frequent, with giveaways and prize wheels.

Regulars are unhappy about recent changes. Several say food prices climbed while milkshakes, ice cream and some breakfast items disappeared. The floor gets smoky when busy, payouts draw plenty of complaints, and a few groups describe tense encounters with security, including bans after a disputed machine payout.

$46 for TWO chicken strip meals tonight?! Absolutely RIDICULOUS! 😡 We could've eat at a restaurant for that price.

We live close by and have eaten here all the time. We used to spend around $25 for two people, and now the prices have gotten completely out of hand.

On top of that, you took away the scoops and…

RSVP’d for a sunglass gift on Memorial Day. I usually don’t get out to this casino, but I’m a Veteran and decided to make a day of it and see what casinos were offering free play.

I couldn’t find my reservation anywhere in my email or on phone but I knew I had made it for the earliest time available.

    The flier had…

The new management has been BEYOND disappointing. First, the breakfast options were taken away, and now the milkshakes, scoops of ice cream, and chicken quesadilla are gone too. Is there anything else you’d like to take away?!

Wonderful casino! This casino is very welcoming to new guests and treats you like family. At the players the club the staff explains some of the rules on how to play and makes signing up easy. The casino was not overly crowded allowing you to find a “game” that you want to play. The cashiers are phenomenal and check…
