The short version

What visitors say about Hollywood Casino at The Meadows

The Meadows is still a working harness track, and race nights are part of the appeal. Parking is free and plentiful, and there are several places to eat. Concerts come through often and a lounge has music every week, while seasonal events such as a Halloween pop up bar and a food and drink festival get enthusiastic reviews. Table players find plenty of games.

Service is where regulars say the place has slipped. When a machine jams or a ticket gets stuck, help can take half an hour, and the players club and hosts draw complaints about promotions not honored and calls not returned. Smoke from the smoking sections spreads across the floor. Poker players should call ahead; one drove in after being told games were running and found the room closed.

Very convenient to the interstate and gasoline. Plenty of shopping as well across the way at the outlets. Excellent choice of games and live harness horse racing! Elevator or stairs takes you to an elegant steak house on top floor. Eateries on all levels. Plenty of parking and safe. Kind and welcoming staff as you walk in! Concerts come often!

Hollywood Casino at The Meadows knows how to treat their Owners and Elite guests. We truly appreciate what you do and enjoyed visiting the Penn Play Lounge. I actually showed my host back at my home casino these pictures. Our Lounge is just a room with a VIP Desk, a few sofas, and a kiosk and that’s it.

    Response from the owner

We’re thrilled to hear about your experience, and we hope to see you again in the future. Thank you!

The corks and kegs event is so much fun it’s family friendly but there’s nothing for kids to do so I’d recommend changing it to a 21+ event but so much fun highly recommend

    Response from the owner

Thank you for sharing your feedback about the Corks and Kegs Festival. We're thrilled to hear that you had a great experience! We appreciate your suggestion regarding keeping the event open to all ages or turning it into 21+ only.

I had such a wonderful time. The employees who paid me out were very wonderful, kind, personable and professional. As a person who never won a jackpot in a casino, they were very nice. Even the cocktail waitress was wonderful and sweet. I tipped them all appropriately and wished them a Happy Thanksgiving. Courtesy and Respect goes a long way.

    Response from the owner

We aim to build long-term relationships with our guests, and we’re very pleased to know that our team provided you with the top-notch service you deserve. Thank you for the positive rating! We wish you the best of luck on your future visits!
