Longtime players still remember when the Gardens ran out of a tent. It has a proper building now, and people coming back after years away say it still feels new. The floor is big, with lots of open tables for baccarat, blackjack and poker, games on the TVs, and reasonably priced food, tacos included. One poker player called the board staff the most organized they had seen at filling seats.
The complaints are specific. Parking is tight and chaotic. There are no players cards or comps, a sore point for people who put in long sessions, and poker players grumble about the rake. Some regulars miss the longer menu from the old days. Bathroom upkeep draws complaints, and a couple of players were unhappy with how the floor ruled on disputed hands.
