The short version
Cadence Crossing is the new Boyd Gaming casino on Boulder Highway, on the old Jokers Wild site, and it's machines only. Early visitors like that it's compact and spotless and full of current slot and video poker titles, some they hadn't seen at other locals casinos. For food there's a restaurant plus a Mexican taco counter, and the central bar has already become a neighborhood hangout for some regulars.
Plenty of former Jokers Wild players aren't won over. They find the new room short on character and complain that the slots pay back poorly. A couple of people found the restaurant pricey, and others describe security enforcing strict, uneven rules on a small floor.

I come to this casino often, love that it’s new and clean. The staff is very nice, the bartenders are great. Had a few interactions with Mario in security…he’s been wonderful. He’s very welcoming and helpful.

We came here for their Grand Opening. Very nice casino but this day it was absolutely packed. Can't wait for things to settle down a bit because they have all the new slots. It's a smaller but nice Casino with a lot to offer.

Just opened. Small place, but new and clean. Lots of new slots and some not seen at other local casinos. Has a small restaurant and a taco/Mexican snack bar.

Today (7/26/26) i went to railroad pass.On nickle video keno I put in $10 i won 5 out of 5 for $80. It was Another example of how TIGHT the keno is here. Every so often i play. Thinking can they finally give a win? Just once?

I really like the old casino jokers wild, this cadence crossing casino sounds like an apartment complex to me. I went today and it is soulless.
You know why I have to write this. This place rtp is awful. It’s crazy that that club fortune, and even casinos on the strip is better than this. the same machine somewhere else can be better then this place.

Terrible service. Boring decor. Horrible gambling. I wish they would have kept Jokers Wild open. This place is completely lifeless with no warmth whatsoever. This is absolutely not a local's casino! Go to water street.

super slow and weird vibes. visited after midnight and all of the security guards were standing at the entrance. we were stopped for having our own beer…guard said “we sell beer here. we want you to buy it.” Sir- it’s not our fault business
