The short version

What visitors say about Cherokee Casino Fort Gibson

Cherokee's Fort Gibson casino is a midsize local place near Fort Gibson Lake, and some of its regulars come as much for dinner as for the slots. The kitchen gets credit for pot roast and oversized wings, and live bands play in the bar. Staff are generally called friendly, and truck drivers say they've been allowed to park a rig out back and rest.

The complaints are specific. There's no nonsmoking section, so smoke follows you from machine to machine. Many players say the slots rarely pay and that bonuses are small when they come. Security is the other sore spot: several reviewers describe guards who hounded them, rude questioning at the bar and a guest thrown out over an ID problem, and some felt singled out. The food isn't always good either, and one diner got a burnt burger and dry mashed potatoes.

Food was TERRIBLE!! Burnt burger was crunchier than a chip and tasted like it was cooked hours ago, mashed potatoes were old and dry. They don’t even let you pay extra to substitute your side or to add extra cheese! Probably would have played longer if the disappointment of our food wasn’t so bad and if every time I…

I’m not much for gambling but I do visit weekly for the food and drinks! The best pot roast I’ve had in years. Great service from all the staff. Friday night is live music. Definitely a great time.

Always a good time here! One of my favorite casinos. Remember it's anadult arcade you have to pay to play. Don't expect to win the prize.

    AWESOME HISTORICAL PLACE!

    Beautifully restored!

Jefferson Davis commanded this fort at one time.

Lots of interesting history available on this place.

I suggest avoiding all incompetent, unverified, fictional, social media influencer created accounts about the history of this fort.
