The short version
Choctaw's Durant resort is the tribe's flagship, and first time visitors keep remarking on its size. Guests describe several gaming areas, most of them nonsmoking, with newer slots, plenty of table games and limits regulars call reasonable. There's also a movie theater, a bowling alley, an arcade, a spa and a pool complex with water slides, an adults only pool and a swim up bar. The buffet and the 1832 steakhouse get the most praise, and hotel guests park with the valet for free.
The hotel side is where things slip. Recent reviews describe rooms assigned in the wrong tower, a block of rooms that took well over an hour to sort out, sparse toiletries and a spa appointment moved twice, and pool staff drew criticism over umbrellas and cabanas. Some find the trip expensive, with one group quoting $9 beers, and plenty of players say the slots pay poorly.

This place is huge!! It is also very beautiful inside. Gaming area is not crowded. Slot machines are newer and there are so many options to choose from. First time at this location. Was here for a Jo Koy concert. I did not realize how big this place is. They have 3 different casino areas, 2 non smoking and 1 smoking. We played alot of slots and left with more money then we brought. There

We enjoyed playing slots at the casino and staying at their hotel Sky View. The adult pool was great, 1832 steakhouse is not to be missed and our favorite bar was actually the lobby bar in Sky View and the swim up pool bar - expresso frozen drink was great on hot day or margaritas.
