Dostal Alley is as much a brewpub as a casino. It makes its own beer, including an amber and an IPA that reviewers rate highly, along with its own root beer and a cream soda, and the pizza, calzones and garlic bread bring people up from Denver who don't gamble at all. The room is small and rustic with wood paneling, and regulars enjoy the bartop video poker.
The complaints are mostly about people, not food. Several visitors had trouble with a parking lot attendant who told them to move their cars if they weren't staying, and a few found the staff curt. The kitchen isn't always consistent either; one diner called the food frozen and reheated, another found the crust undercooked.

Wonderful experience all around, great food and atmosphere! The Dostal Alley rootbeer is tops! Calazones delish 🤩. Also, thank you very much Lisa for your kindness and care in making my family member's calazones with a certain oven bake per his disability ❤️. PS Annaliese was treated to a small piece of the tasty calzone crust, she luved it 😀

Rustic little hole in the wall pizza joint and casino with great pizza. Love the atmosphere with the wooden paneling and infinity mirrors. Lots of history up in central city always have to make it a point to visit when I am in the area. The

Best calzone and garlic bread I have ever had. I wish I could try every one of their beers. We had their Amber and IPA, both were top notch. The Amber ale was absolutely perfect. I am definitely coming back to try the pizza and more beer.

Friendly staff, awesome fresh ingredients pizza and a nice selection of beers. Most negative reviews appear to be personal issues of guests about parking and whatnot; I’d def recommend this place
