Very enjoyable experience .
My wife and I played slots for 3 hours on $150
We didn't win big . We broke even and had a great time doing it.

The short version
The Famous Bonanza is Easy Street's sister on the same stretch of Main Street, and it plays the Old West angle hard; walking its two levels reminds visitors of a western film. It's one of the places in town with vintage coin slots that pay out in actual coins, plus a room full of quarter machines and plenty of nickels. Slot players say their money lasts, and several hosts and floor staff are praised by name.
The negative reviews center on management. Several visitors describe confrontations over dogs, including service animals, with managers they felt were rude or asked too many questions. Drink service also gets knocked, including a bartender one regular says never offered a drink in hours of play.

I just had to stop by this casino while visiting, we have one in Reno, NV but it is nothing compared to this. As soon as you walk through the doors you think back to an old western film. Walking through the 2 levels you can just imagine what this place was like back in the gold rush days. People hanging off balconies,…
I just love The Famous Bonanza Casino. I am a quarter slot player and they have a whole room full of them to play. They even have the vintage coin op slot machines that pay you out in actual coins if you are craving an og slot experience.
An old timey, kitschy casino located in Central City, CO. Jennifer and the other friendly casino hosts, are welcoming and helpful. This casino has several Nickel slots and the distinct sounds of a winning payout is definitely from a by gone era. Worth a visit and a step back in time, you’ll find this casino to be generous and casual.

At 107 Main St in Central City, about 28 miles from Downtown Denver as the crow flies. It's a state licensed commercial casino in Colorado, and you need to be 21 to gamble.
It doesn't stay open all night. The weekly hours are on this page, taken from its Google listing, and it's worth a quick call to confirm before a late drive.
