The short version
EDH Casino is a newer card room just off Highway 50 in El Dorado Hills, joined to Eldo Chophouse, and players can order food and cocktails from the restaurant without leaving the table. Reviewers call the room classy and relaxed, with a fireplace for cold nights and outdoor seating when it warms up, and they rate the food highly even if it isn't cheap.
Staff are the reason for the near perfect rating. Dealers and floor people are patient with beginners, which has made the room a favorite for private poker nights and group events. The poker leans on bomb pots and weekend tournaments, with blackjack and baccarat alongside. It can be quiet, and a few blackjack and baccarat players were unhappy with the table rules or the way they were explained.

Intimate casino with heavy emphasis on customer service and customer experience. Staff is friendly, professional, and fun. Food, is on the pricier side, but it is value given the restaurant quality. (Chicken Parm w Vodka sauce was most excellent). Poker room has a nice mix of locals and guests and the match table…
Thanks for the compliments, Paul! Hope you see you again soon!
Since the first time I ever stepped foot in their door, the friendly, yet chill vibe has always been warming. As a black jack player, they accommodate and will get you in and on a table right away. Everything about the place is nice and I love going there!
Thank you, Adriane! See you soon!
Special thanks to Stan for helping make our poker networking event a success. Him and his dealers were extremely patient with many of our guests who were new to poker, and they did a great job making everyone feel comfortable and involved.
Thanks, ServiceMaster! Can’t wait to host you guys again!
Amazing location and even better staff/management. The crew here does a terrific job making guests feel welcomed and taken care of. Probably one of the best card rooms in the Sacramento area. Awesome promotions as well.
Thank you, Dereak!! Hope to see you again soon!

At 3909 Park Dr in El Dorado Hills, about 24 miles from Downtown Sacramento as the crow flies. It's a state licensed card room.
It doesn't stay open all night. The weekly hours are on this page, taken from its Google listing, and it's worth a quick call to confirm before a late drive.
No. Card rooms in California aren't allowed slots. You'll find poker and table games like baccarat and pai gow instead. For slots you need a tribal casino.
