The short version

What visitors say about Livermore Casino

Most of Livermore Casino's fans talk about lunch, not cards. The bar and restaurant on First Street turn out patty melts, tri tip, French dips, Chinese chicken salad and breakfast at prices reviewers call fair, and the servers and bartenders collect more compliments than anyone on the gaming side. Plenty of guests come only to eat.

The card room is small, with blackjack, three card poker, baccarat and hold'em, and the tables get rougher reviews. Newer players describe dealers who chat too much or miss details, house rules nobody explained and a sense that regulars come first. One poker player recounts a fight at the table that staff seemed to shrug off.

This review is for the bar and restaurant area. I came in for lunch and had a patty melt with onion rings. Food came out just the way I liked it. Bartender server Keith was polite, courteous and friendly. He was attentive. Prices were reasonable. I will definitely come back.

I love this place!! Everyone is genuinely friendly, and they make it feel welcoming even if you’re a beginner gambler. The food is also really good and it isn't overpriced like a lot of other casinos. I also like that they run specials around certain holidays, and the deals are actually worth it because the food is…
