The short version

What visitors say about Lucky 7 Casino & Hotel

A few miles short of the Oregon line, Lucky 7 works as an overnight stop for people driving the coast on Highway 101. Recent hotel guests describe big, quiet, very clean rooms, some with balconies looking toward the ocean over the road and a parking lot, plus a light free breakfast and a travel mart and fuel stop close by with fair prices. Campers can also get a security pass to sleep in a vehicle behind the casino.

The casino is a laid back, mid sized room, and smoking is allowed. Guests who came for a nonsmoking section had trouble finding one, and smoke sometimes drifts into the lobby. The restaurant does a decent breakfast, but its service draws steady complaints, along with an automatic tip added to the bill. Several blackjack players say floor supervisors brushed off their disputes over dealer mistakes.

Guided here by a website that there was free RV/Camper vehicle site behind the casino. The casino was clean and modern. I checked in with security and they gave me a pass to display in my window, spent a single night in my camper pick up truck. Mostly uneventful night, just one car the decided to park next to me while…

This is strictly about the hotel. We stayed here as an overnight on our 101 road trip. I chose this place because Crescent City did not look like much, and I wanted to be sure we could have dinner somewhere since we would be arriving a bit

Loved my time at the hotel and casino! I enjoyed it so much I extended my stay by the second night. The staff are fantastic. Drinks at the bar was fun and all the bartenders are awesome. Great location if you're looking for a more laid back stay, but still close enough to all the tourists stuff. I will most definitely stay again someday!

It was a fun experience overall. The place feels lively, and you can tell it’s set up for people who want to relax and do something in the same spot—gaming, staying there, and just having the option to keep busy.
