The short version

What visitors say about Lucky Chances Casino

Colma is a town of cemeteries, and Lucky Chances sits among them on Hillside Boulevard, a setting a couple of reviewers find darkly funny. For many Bay Area night owls the draw is Cafe Colma, the restaurant inside, which serves Filipino dishes like kare kare alongside Chinese plates and steaks deep into the night. It's a common last stop after a concert or a night out. Fans love the cooking; others say portions have shrunk as prices rose, menu items run out, and servers are slow to come back.

The card room gets less affection. Regulars call it fine for cash games and baccarat but weak on poker tournaments, and to some the decor looks decades old. Cleanliness draws the sharpest complaints, with grimy carpet under the restaurant tables, bugs around the poker area and a hair in one diner's food. A few guests found the staff curt.

This is an ok place to play cash game and Baccarat. But the poker tournaments are not that solid here. Once in a while there are bigger buy-in tournaments but overall this is not the top shelf card room by any means. The location is very nice next to Colma cemeteries.

It’s better than nothing. So so

We came here after after a concert for midnight snack, everything was good the service was really slow but lots of servers walking around. They also out of a few thing we were looking for. The next day my friend came back with her family and the same thing, they were out of a few things. Bummer!

What is love about this place is their Cafe Colma: a restaurant that sells the best Filipino food in the Bay Area, with generous servings and prepared when you order. They also have Chinese and American fare i.e. rib eye steaks. Open from 6am - 4am everyday.

We went to Cafe Colma. Great food, good service. Fast and clean can go wrong here. Serving some really tasty Filipino food personally, I love the Kare Kare
