The short version
Mohegan Pennsylvania, the casino at Pocono Downs, gets its best reviews from people who spent the night. Hotel guests describe large, clean rooms and a helpful front desk, with plenty of restaurants a short walk from the room. The sushi comes up again and again, and the rest of the dining gets good marks too. Cocktail servers circulate often, so nobody waits long for a drink.
The slots are the sore point. Several players describe long sessions without a single bonus and rank these among the tightest machines they have played. Security checks ID closely and some guests found guards rude about it. Hotel stays carry a resort fee, which one guest thought hard to justify.

Nice place to stay for a quick getaway. The casino is right in the middle along with restaurants along the perimeter. But you do smell the smoke as soon as you enter the lobby. Its very strong at the entrance of the hotel checkin area.
The casino is nice. It's dark inside. Seems clean. The beverage people do a really good job. They come by frequently to take drink orders. The parking situation is less than lousy. It's far away, handicapped was difficult to find and get to. We had to walk a ways, then down stairs or the ramp to get on the road ground…
Nice getaway for an overnight stay. Staff was friendly, rooms were nice. The casino is a nice size, but didn't have much luck winning.
Enjoyed some of the restaurants inside the casino. The sushi place is very good.
