The short version

What visitors say about Mount Airy Casino Resort

Mount Airy is a resort first, and couples book it for birthdays and anniversaries in the Poconos. The pool is the favorite feature, part indoors and part out and warm enough to use on a rainy day, and the spa wins praise as well. Guy Fieri's restaurant is the most talked about place to eat. Valet comes with the stay, and guests describe staff across the property as friendly, including a roulette dealer who patiently walked a first timer through the rules.

Smoke and humidity are the two complaints that keep coming back. Nonsmokers say cigarette smoke hangs thick even in the nonsmoking section, and several guests found their rooms damp, with black mold or rust spots in the bathroom. Noise from neighbors and from housekeeping in the halls bothered others. Security checks ID closely, and guests carrying less common forms of ID have been kept off the floor.
