The short version
Parx Shippensburg is a small casino that feels roomier inside than you might expect, with space between the machines. Visitors call it small but clean and say the staff are friendly and attentive. Liberty, the restaurant, wins praise for big portions and low prices. Roulette starts at $10, which a visitor used to Atlantic City found cheap and another thought high.
This is not a 24 hour casino, and staff are firm about closing time, which caught a few guests off guard after 2 a.m. The slots draw the most complaints, with players describing short sessions and bonuses that pay little. The restaurant has off nights too, with a tough steak, a burnt pizza and slow service among the grievances. Sports bettors will find self serve kiosks but no sportsbook counter.

Small but well staffed and friendly. New players received $20 free play. Lots of slots, table games...plenty of space between games so you don't feel crowded. All non-smoking inside. Great restaurant with huge portions and bar with practically every brand.
Good atmosphere. Slots are tight and black jack table was ridiculously disappointing. Everyone at the table was losing and dealer busted 1 time in 10 hands that i played. Very questionable auto shufflers in use. I dont like them. I have never lost in Black jack so quickly and one sided in my life and i have been…
