We had a great time! We came out for an overnight trip. Just one night. They let us check in early, about 1:15pm. The room was $59 plus tax so $66.38. Free wifi in room and in the casino. The casino wifi was strong enough to upload videos.

Primm Valley sits on Interstate 15 right at the California line, the first casino a lot of LA drivers pass heading into Nevada, and many treat it as a pit stop. The big curiosity is the car Bonnie and Clyde died in, parked inside, which some people pull off the freeway just to see. Rooms can be cheap, especially midweek, and a few guests found them clean with comfortable beds.
Most recent reviews describe a place in decline. Guests report stained carpets, dirty bathrooms, roaches and a front desk that was slow or dismissive when they asked for help. Food is thin inside and out, with a limited diner menu and little else nearby, and players found many machines switched off and few or no table games. Those reviews were written before a short shutdown in the summer of 2026. Terrible Herbst took over the resort and reopened the casino on July 22, 2026, so some of this may already be changing.

The rooms are small through the week. They are more affordable than on the weekend. The location is right as you enter California or inner Las Vegas. It's directly on the state line. Not many restaurants nearby and the mall is no longer open. It is completely closed down
We just went in for a bite to eat at the Mexican restaurant outside the actual casino. It’s in the middle of nothing just inside Nevada from California so there is t much choice here. However, the food was excellent here. The Pinkbox

Made a pit stop on the way to Vegas this week... Quickly signed up for the player card for a $20 Free play offer... Came up for a minute but eventually gave it all back... Esthetically, looks and feels a little refreshed from before but worth a stop this time around..

The room was dirty, carpets were stained, the shower curtain also had stains on it and hair in the bathroom. We were charged a resort fee that had not been disclosed, as we had already paid in full. The location made it practical to stay here but I would not recommend.

Primm Resort Hotel is slowly going out of business. I was there 3 weeks ago and all the amenities were closed. No laundry room, the pool was locked, the restaurants were closed and the room was in shambles.
