Daylight is the first thing people mention at Durango, a newer Station Casinos resort in the far southwest valley. Ceilings are high, windows let the sun in, and rows of new slot machines sit along wide aisles instead of in a cramped maze. Hotel guests describe clean, modern rooms with comfortable beds, and locals keep returning for the food hall and restaurants. Summer brings concerts at the pool, though a couple of guests found the pool small for a new resort.

The complaints come mostly from heavier gamblers, who say the rewards program and hosts give little back, and one called the slots tight. Smoking is allowed. One regular says the air stays clear unless someone lights up next to you; another was fed up with smokers and vapers. Restaurant service and security staff each draw a few angry reviews.

We really enjoyed our stay at Durango! One of the things I loved most was how open, airy and bright the casino feels. There is plenty of natural light coming in, which is such a nice change from so many casinos that feel dark and closed in.

Living in Las Vegas we have a huge choice of restaurants. Niccos at Durango is fantastic. We met our friends there had a glass of wine at the bar and then moved to the dining room to a beautiful booth facing huge windows.

Always clean… Everywhere… All the people who work there are always so kind and thoughtful. Sitting in the lobby and a cleaning person was going by and said, would you like a water and went and got one for me.

As a locals casino, they definitely don't care about locals.

Rewards program for higher rollers is pathetic. The program has zero transparency for discretionary benefits.

I could go on, but I don't care enough as there are plenty of competitors... Or just save your money.

Durango has officially LOST OUR BUSINESS & OUR HOUSE KEYS. As Vegas locals and frequenters, we will not be giving them our business any longer. Their valet team lost our house keys and have been absolutely terrible at resolving this issue

Received a comped room at this casino/hotel- . The room was average but it did not cool down well and you can only lower the thermostat so much and it was still very warm. Hard to find parking, cheap establishment. Wouldn’t play here. Not local friendly, roulette tables placed in a weird place. Machines are very tight barely anyone wins. Designed for the player to not have a chance. Terrible player card
