Up in the northwest valley, Santa Fe Station works as a neighborhood hangout as much as a casino. The bowling center draws league bowlers and families, there are several places to eat, and the property sets off its own fireworks for the Fourth of July, though guests disagreed on how good the show was.

The casino side gets tougher reviews. Table players say some dealers are friendly and quick while others are grouchy, and one had to check every payout. A slot regular complains the machines never change. Smoke drifts beyond where it belongs, into the sportsbook and the hotel hallways.

The hotel is older, with small bathrooms, thin walls, very long corridors and elevators a couple of guests found unreliable. One guest who booked through a third party was hit with a resort fee at the desk and given a different bed than the one reserved.

The food is amazing, the service is great, however I know where every slot machine is. They don’t switch out their machines. I have to go elsewhere to play the newest slots. I love Sante Fe Station’s location and atmosphere but the slots

I set my friends up for vacation. The room was clean and very nice. I would have given 5 stars but the bathroom was so small. My nephew won a raffle so we enjoyed 2.5 hours of bowling, 4-1 topping pizzas, chicken wings, chicken nuggets and fries plus 2 pitchers of pop. What a deal. Had lots of fun. We also celebrated my nephews 12th bday!!

Good place as a local. Waitresses like to take their time, tip them right away to ensure they come back quickly. Some of the dealers do not like their job and are grouchy which ruins the vibe if youre gambling. Lots of amenities, nice rooms, lots of other activities too.
