The short version
Suncoast is partway through a remodel, and the casino floor shows it. Reviewers call the new look beautiful, and the enlarged sportsbook has new screens and seating. The rooms haven't had their turn yet. They're big and clean but dated, with tubs instead of walk in showers, and there's no coffee or microwave in the room.
Away from the tables it works as a Summerlin neighborhood resort, with a bowling alley that runs leagues, a movie theater and several restaurants under one roof. Families in town for youth sports or visiting relatives like the easy self parking and friendly staff. Red Rock is a few miles west.
Slot players are less pleased. The remodel removed a lot of machines, and some find the ones left tight. Cigarette smoke still creeps back onto the floor and, according to one family, into the nonsmoking rooms.

This review is only for the casino which has been recently renovated and is beautiful. The staff are very friendly and there are plenty of new and classic games in consoles as well as all the table games.
At 3 pm on a Wednesday there were plenty of folks here and the environment was lively and upbeat. I can't wait…

Beds are hard with only a sheet and a thin blanket. I got cold at night. Toilets are very low to the floor. Housekeeping serviced once in three days after we left the Do Not Disturb on the door until about 11 a.m.. No coffee in the room. Bare minimum. Will not return.
