The short version
OYO is the old Hooters casino on Tropicana, near the MGM Grand, and it's priced accordingly. People who book it knowing what they're getting tend to be fine with it: a cheap bed at the south end of the Strip, $5 blackjack and occasionally lower, friendly dealers and a clean pool. A couple of guests happily walked to the arena and the Strip from here.
The building shows its age, and the elevators are the complaint that comes up most, with guests describing half hour waits and long trips on the stairs. Ice machines are often broken, rooms have no fridge or microwave, and housekeeping can skip you entirely. Watch the extras: parking isn't free, and one guest was billed resort fees on a comped stay and spent weeks trying to get the money back.

They have 2 pool tables right on the bar area next to the sports book. Always something to do if you don't want to the gamble. They have an awesome pool area with free cabanas, First come first serve. They have a beer pong game pool side too!!! Really good room rates
