The short version
Gold Coast is on West Flamingo, a mile or so west of the Strip and across the street from the Palms, and many of its fans are people who quit paying Strip prices. The rooms were renovated some years ago, and guests keep calling them clean and roomy. Table players like the $5 minimums. There's a bowling alley, a small, quiet pool and a few restaurants, and staff draw steady compliments, security included.
Slot players are far less happy. Regulars say the old selection is gone, replaced by rows of near identical machines, and that payouts have tightened. A few table players clashed with pit bosses over rulings and chip counts, and some guests found the front desk and bar staff dismissive. One guest was hit with check in charges the booking hadn't spelled out.

We always stay here while in Vegas. Patrice checked us in, she was extremely friendly and knowledgeable and super kind. And smiled the entire time! The hotel was remodeled a few years back and the rooms are spotless, beds super comfy.

Gold Coast is a really cool little off the strip hotel/casino. The rooms are really nice, clean and comfy.
The casino floor is clean, has some nice bar areas and has all the slots you could ask for and a good amount of table games without the strip table minimums that are way too expensive these days.

Stayed here on May 24th 2026. I have to say that this hotel far exceeded my expectations! I stayed at the Luxor the previous two days and the rooms at Gold coast were waayyyy better. The rooms were so modern and clean. I was really impressed. I would definitely stay here again!!!

We've stayed here many moons ago and its changed so much. To my liking not many places to eat. Chapter 75 was great, excellent service and very friendly servers. The Asian places were way to expensive for tiny portions.

Honestly one of the worst casinos I've ever played at. The games are either old as dirt or the newer ones glitch so not only do they take your money theyre also just not entertaining. This will definitely be the last time I gamble in here. Much better luck was had right across the street at the palms!
