The short version

What visitors say about Win-River Resort & Casino

Win-River is Redding's tribal resort, and many locals know it best as the place for concerts, banquets and vendor fairs. The casino floor is clean and friendly, with slots and table games, and the buffet staff were kind and patient with one grieving family who came to eat after a funeral. Travelers without a reservation have been fitted into the RV park at short notice.

Day to day gamblers are harder on it. Regulars describe tight machines, pricey drinks and no free sodas. The casino allows smoking, and guests say the smell reaches the lobby and some nonsmoking rooms; others found the rooms dusty and worn, and check in can be slow. Security is strict about IDs, overnight parking and big vehicles, and the bars stop serving at 2 a.m.

The only downside was the few people that were not from here stole from my booth and others got away with deals far cheaper than the products I sold were worth. I…

I wanted to leave a positive review for the RV portion of the casino. We needed a place to stop for the night and didn't have reservations. Linda did a wonderful job of getting us checked in and set up for the evening, turning a stressful situation into a pleasant evening. Thanks again Linda!

In all honesty the place is clean and friendly. The service people are great. I have not stayed in the rooms. There is a good variety of games. However the payouts and game play are not to my satisfaction. Normally a person can play for a while on a few hundred bucks. Not here. Its the one downfall I experienced.

We ask for no smoking room, but it smells. Then I checked the AC filter and no one cleaned the filter. After I cleaned it, the air smell better. The bathroom needs more lighting. It was a bit too dark. I don't remember if there was a fan in
