The short version
Greektown Casino took the Hollywood name in 2022. It sits close to Ford Field and the other downtown stadiums, so most recent reviews come from people who booked the hotel for a concert, a wedding or some other big event. Those busy weekends are when it falls apart. Guests describe long check in lines that the mobile key app did not shorten, and several found rooms booked months ahead swapped, unready or given away.
Upkeep is the other sore spot: dusty baseboards, mildew in the shower, torn sheets, broken fixtures and housekeeping you have to chase. Guests do like the beds, and the front desk, security and cleaning crew collect plenty of personal thanks.
The casino floor gets less attention. A couple of players found the cocktail servers or a dealer rude, and one visitor paid $30 to park after being told only players club members park free.

The waitress are mean and rude.
No bonuses. When you finally get a bonus, you get nothing. I think the casino is just greedy.
There is a lady cleaner named Trena that is so very nice and sweet. She always makes sure our areas are clean and wish us well while gambling. Trena could teach those waitress how to treat us customers.

DO NOT STAY HERE!! I booked a room at this location a year in advance. I chose it for its close location to Ford Field for a concert. I booked and paid for the hotel A YEAR IN ADVANCE. When I just got to the hotel they sent me away because they "overbooked the hotel".
