Once there, hotel guests are mostly happy with big rooms, comfortable beds and a nice pool with a bar and attentive servers. Valet is free and parking is easy. Live bands play the bars, and the pizza place and the Pala Cafe both have fans.

Smoke is the recurring catch. There is a nonsmoking area, but people say the smell drifts through the casino and into parts of the hotel. Guests also dislike paying extra for early check in and late checkout. A couple of visitors found security heavy handed, with repeated room key checks at the elevators and guards hovering behind players. Ticket buyers for outdoor shows reported trouble with the ticketing site, including a cancellation.

Had a great time there. The inside has changed dramatically since my last visit over 5 years ago. Time for them to do some upgrades maybe upgrade their pool area upgrade their little cafe by the hotel elevator. Put some money into the casino as a whole be competitive with the surrounding casinos cause there are a few in that area to compare to.

We visited Pala for my mom's birthday, and she had a blast! The drive in on Highway 76 is pretty winding and curvy (east of interstate 15), but completely worth it. We stayed here for the weekend an let me say we loved it. Rooms were big an spacious. The pillows were a bit small for our liking but the bed was comfortable. The pool was beautiful an we loved the bar. The servers at the pool were great. We will definitely be coming back here

Convenient for North County. The Pala road is very winding with a few hairpin turns. The casino is nice. They have an excellent pizza place. We saw a band at one of the bars. We had to go get our own drinks - no waitress or waiters. They could have made a lot more money because we would have ordered more. Valet parking is free! Take advantage of that and leave a good tip.

Nice location, decent rooms and food, but the security team was very poor. I saw them aggressively handling multiple customers who were not bothering anyone. And then, they would lurk, and stand behind people while they played for no reason. That made it difficult to relax and enjoy my play. I will NOT return. Management needs to train their security staff better.
