The short version
Valley View is smaller than Harrah's up the road or Barona and Pechanga, and fans like that. Staff greet people at the door, the players club hands out gifts and free play, and the Black and Blue restaurant and the Patties and Pints pub both have loyal diners.
The buffet is the strange part. People who get in say the food is excellent, but entry is limited to higher tier cardholders, and several first timers were turned away even when they offered to pay. Table players will find a small pit with no baccarat, and a longtime regular complained about high minimums. Smoke is the other recurring complaint, since the nonsmoking section is small, and plenty of players felt the machines have tightened lately.

I went to Valley View Casino & Hotel fully prepared to donate a few dollars to the slot machines. Apparently, the slots interpreted that as, "Please take ALL my money." Mission accomplished. 😄

Black and Blue restaurant in inside the Valley View Casino is one of my favorite restaurants. Our friends won $2300.00 the same evening. Staff is amazing 👏 +10 out of 10. Highly recommended. Hotel is also very nice.

This casino seems to have tightened their machines lately. We spent around 5k on various machines and didn't win anything over $30!
