The short version
Plenty of Parkwest Lodi's fans come for the kitchen as much as the cards. Diners mention club sandwiches, chicken fried steak and a seriously spicy kung pao chicken, and the clam chowder has a reputation around town. Prices run a little high, by a couple of accounts. The room on Cherokee Lane is open around the clock, with friendly servers and dealers, regular no limit hold'em tournaments and blackjack.
The gaming side divides people. Several blackjack players say winning hands are rare, and one walked out after seeing that the house version paid six to five on a blackjack. Others fault the floor managers for uneven rulings and for how they treat players, and say some dealers chat with coworkers more than they focus on the game.

Came here for lunch. Place was clean, great service, food came quickly. I had the club sandwich. It was a solid club sandwich. Good but not amazing or anything. Nice portion. My husband had the chicken fried steak. Again, it was good. Will definitely return to try other items.
Wow! Now THIS is a hidden treasure! Wow wow wow! It's a bit noisy.. it IS a casino and bar! BUT the food is seriously incredible! The Kung Pao chicken is VERY spicy 🌶 🔥! But other than that .. wow! Very good. Expect a little higher priced, but honestly it's on par with most places right now. We will be back!
