The short version

What visitors say about Rivers Casino Philadelphia

Plenty of Philadelphians still call it SugarHouse. Rivers sits on the Delaware in Fishtown, a convenient stop from most of the city, and the floor is packed with slot machines and tables. The sports lounge is the favorite corner on game nights, with comfortable seats, food and good sightlines to the screens. One couple recommends the Italian restaurant for good food at a fair price.

Regulars disagree about the rewards program. Some say mailers and weekly incentives have improved, while others report offers drying up or being pulled after a win. The floor is mostly smoking, which bothers nonsmokers, and bar service can be slow. Parking is free and plentiful.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience here. This was my first time visiting, and unfortunately it will likely be my last.

I had to meet someone down here, so while I waited I decided to put $25 into the penny slots. Let me tell you, those machines did NOT want to give me any money! I think I may have gotten about $5 back out of my $25, which was disappointing.

They do have a lot of slot machines and plenty of table games, and the…

The sports lounge area to keep track of games is Nice and very comfortable. They really have everything needed to enjoy game nights. Food. Drinks and great TV views along with comfortable seating. Then after if youre feeling lucky then you can head to any tables or slot machines that are very closely nearby
