Spotlight 29 sits right off the 10 in Coachella, and some regulars use it as much for errands as for gambling: they fill up at the gas station with a players card discount, eat, and play a few machines. Cigarette smoke is the steady gripe, strong enough on some days that you leave smelling of it. A run of reviews from the past couple of years say service slipped after the pandemic and a management change, with fewer free play offers and slow bartenders. The harsh buffet reviews you will find are mostly several years old.

First time stopping in on our way in to California and such an amazing little place had to stop again on way home thanks to the best bartender ever Raul. He was super friendly kind and let us know about all the sweet deals and the delicious menudo they serve on Sunday so had to stop back in on way home for the service…

I would prefer that no one choose to come to this casino being that when the generators went out at one point in time I was not able to receive my money back from the machine all the while having to wait 3 hours and it's still not up and
Theres flys flying all over the food. I can't even eat my food. The food is always cold and they never change the menu like never! There ice cream machine sucks! They need to vacuum. Don't waste you money here. Just stop at jack in the box better.
Worst service i have ever had. Had to sit at the bar. The 2 worst bartenders ever. Said there was no Menudo but the bowls just kept coming out of the kitchen. Took them 10 minutes to acknowledge me sitting there. Then just kept walking by

I would not recommend this place to anyone. I worked on the construction of the Casino and have been a patron ever since. But sense the pandemic and change in management it's not worth my time and money. The staff is rude service sucks.

I didn't enjoy much of my experience. The people in front of us kept moving their chairs thus blocking us from seeing the stage. I think people with cheaper tickets got a better view. Some staff weren't very warm. At least we were able to see Bronco, mostly on the screen though 😂

It was a great place to dine and play, but lately about two months ago things have gotten bad. People incentives like free play was cut and no gifts. They blame new manager but I don't believe it, the servers are few real bad service. Hopefully things will get better
otherwise 29 will lose customers.
