The old Poker Palace on Las Vegas Boulevard North now operates as Club Fortune, and people who knew the old place notice the difference. The remodel went top to bottom, the floor is clean, and there are lots of machines and plenty of parking. There are no table games and no real restaurant, just a snack counter that a couple of reviewers call overpriced. Two visitors say security asked to search their purses at the door, and neither stayed. Slot players are split. One says the promotions are good for a small casino, while others complain the floor is full of the same newer titles and the machines rarely pay. Most of the staff get kind words.

New and improved casino
We always have a great experience when we've stopped in. The place turned out really nice! Huge improvements throughout and lots of machines to choose from. No table games for anyone in search of those.
Good promotions for a small casnio had better luck here then on the strip
Used to go to the Poker Palace. It was old but friendly. This is corporate and the prices for food are ridiculous. Sports book is a joke and I spent 6 hours playing slots and got nothing to make me come back.
Before I entered the building security wanted to look into my purse, which was unacceptable, so therefore, I was escorted out. To be treated as a criminal is very unacceptable. There are too many casinos to cater too, this one of them that shouldn't be.

As soon as I walked in the door the security guard asked me to search my purse. I was offended and felt like I was being violated so I just left. They didn’t ask to search my man that was with me. Nor did they ask for I.d. . I don’t like or appreciate their approach. It was inappropriate and not okay with me.
As soon as they saw us winning they said we spilled a beer and the machine w a s glitches, the manager came and spoke to us, but the machine attendant said she was fixing it said she had her arm full of beer, if ypu dont want shit spilled dont serve it period. All they have is teaser slot machines that we all hate and never pay. It seems like the casinos are taking out all the slot machines that we like. Replacing with games that nobody likes and nobody wants to play.. How many hot pot games are you gonna put in.. Buffalo ascension moneyballs. So many cool games to choose from yet , they put the same one in.
