The short version
Jerry's Nugget is family owned and still feels like Las Vegas from a few decades back. The coffee shop is the main event, with a menu the size of a booklet, a dessert case by the door, large portions and prime rib that keeps regulars coming back. On the floor, reviewers found $5 craps and blackjack and $2 roulette, limits that are hard to find anywhere near the Strip.
The coffee shop also collects most of the bad reviews. For every fan of the steak specials there's someone who got a tough, underseasoned steak, food that sat too long under the heat, or a server who never came back. Staff attitude depends on who you get, and a couple of players found the rewards club confusing. The slots draw complaints about being old and stingy, and one player was surprised to pay for a beer while gambling.

We had lunch at their infamous coffee shop on a Saturday. It has a great menu, the prices are good, and the portions are large. I enjoyed their colassal Cobb Salad, and spouse just ate up their Caesar Salad with salmon.

The restaurant here has wonderful food. The bingo was very fun. We had never played but they explained things to a total newbie. The prime rib and salad were great. It’s not as fancy as other casinos nor is it that nice a neighborhood, but it’s definitely friendly, fun, and a good deal.
