Arbitrage calculator
Enter the best price you can find for each outcome of a market to see whether the prices leave an arbitrage, how to split your stake and what it returns.
Best price for each outcome
| Outcome | Price | Stake | Returns |
|---|---|---|---|
| Outcome 1 | +110 | $493.98 | $1,037.35 |
| Outcome 2 | +105 | $506.02 | $1,037.35 |
The math only holds if every bet is accepted at these exact prices, for these stakes, and the outcomes settle on the same rules. Prices move, limits apply and sportsbooks may void obvious errors, so an arbitrage on paper is not a guaranteed profit.
Calculations show hypothetical outcomes from the prices you enter. They do not predict results, and betting always involves risk.
Example
Best prices +110 at one sportsbook and +105 at another: implied 47.62% + 48.78% = 96.40%. That is under 100%, so $1,000 split $493.98 / $506.02 returns $1,037.35 either way, 3.73%. At -105 on both sides the total is 102.44%: no arbitrage.
Stake formula
Stake on each outcome = total x (1 / its decimal odds) / (sum of 1 / decimal odds). Each stake times its odds gives the same return.

Common questions
What is arbitrage betting?
Backing every outcome of a market at different sportsbooks when their best prices add up to less than 100% implied probability, so the stakes can be split to return the same amount whatever happens.
How do I know if there is an arbitrage?
Add up 1 / decimal odds for the best price on each outcome. Under 1 (100%) is an arbitrage; the gap is roughly the return.
Is arbitrage risk free?
No. Prices move before both bets are placed, stakes may be limited, bets can be voided and the two books may settle differently. The calculation is right only if every bet goes through as entered.
Is arbitrage betting allowed?
Sportsbooks may limit or close accounts that bet this way under their terms. Check the terms of each sportsbook.
