The short version
Most Bodines reviews are really restaurant reviews, which tells you why people come. The draw is cheap, filling diner food: dinner specials around $10, chicken parm, pork chops, steak and eggs, and simple breakfasts. Servers are often called friendly and attentive, and one regular was pleased that the bartender remembered their usual after a month away and had it poured, ice cold, before they sat down. The casino side gets fewer words, though a couple of visitors found it lively and liked the sportsbook.
The kitchen is inconsistent, and longtime customers notice. Prime rib ordered medium rare arrives well done, and fish and shrimp come out overcooked. Waits are the other theme, with diners describing half an hour or more to order or eat, sometimes on slow afternoons. Specials have crept up in price, and reaching the dining room means walking through the smoky casino.

My son and I stopped for a beer and it was nice. After not having been there for a month, we stopped again and the bar tender remembered what we drank and had it served as soon as we sat at the bar! The beer is kept on ice and is wonderfully cold!!!!
