The short version
Slot World is a locals casino on US 50 at the eastern edge of Carson City, and a good share of its fans come for breakfast. Betsy's, the cafe, is praised for large, inexpensive plates that arrive quickly, with the pancakes singled out, and even people who don't gamble recommend it as a stop on the road toward Dayton. The casino is small and homey rather than fancy, with a good spread of slots, a clean floor and staff that regulars clearly like.
The machines split opinion sharply. A few regulars say they win more often than they lose, and one family hit a hand pay jackpot, but more players call Slot World as tight as anywhere in the area. Criticism of the cafe is mostly older: waits of 15 minutes or more without a server, shrinking portions and missing takeout items.

More often than not I win when I play here. Cocktail service is excellent considering I don't drink. Tip your cocktail waitress $20 and you will never go thirsty that's for sure. Excellent variety of slots as well. Doesn't smell like smoke.

Love Joe the bartender, Nina the server and to be absolutely honest the pancakes are the best in town. We go in the morning it's pretty quiet and chill.

The system and or connectivity that the casino uses is frequently " down" much too often here. On multiple occasions I have found myself standing at the desk at guest services waiting for them to do something simple like redeeming a mailed offer.
Today I went to use my food comps & free play, but was informed that…
