The short version
The Fremont is a Boyd property right under the canopy, and its fans are downtown loyalists who like stepping straight out into the crowd. Rooms are small, but they've been redone and stay clean, with comfortable beds. Cocktail servers and bartenders keep an old Vegas manner that regulars appreciate, and the floor is heavy on slot machines. Boyd members can also use the nearby California and Main Street Station, food credits included. A food court handles quick meals.
Noise is the main complaint. Rooms facing the street get the party below until late, so ask for a high floor on the quiet side. One guest who stayed eight nights picked the 10th floor for that reason and found it quiet. Several people were surprised by the deposit and fees at check in. Housekeeping skipped rooms for some guests, and table players describe dealers and managers who were curt or hostile.

Stayed here for 8 nights...check in was fast and easy,and we were given a choice of floors.We chose the 10th floor as it was a quiet room....had a beautiful view of the old casinos with the mountain ranges behind.

Fremont feels like home. The rooms are small but they are updated and clean. Friendly service. Access to Fremont experience as well as other casinos, restaurants, shopping, and free concerts. I haven't stayed anywhere else in Vegas in years.

Room was great. David bellman that checked us out an electric scooter was the best. He waited outside for our uber and went upbove and beyond to make sure we got our ride and took care of our bags. Definitely an asset to boyd properties. THANK YOU HE GETS A 10 PLUS RATING

Booked through Expedia everything was going great till check in. I had never been charged for a resort/ cleaning fee of “$75” I booked two rooms. And I was charged “$86” for both on my card. I was also charged $100 for each room as a hold

The location is great and the price was okay. Otherwise very disappointing. Drove 10 hours and went to check in, I had already paid for the rooms and resort fee. They tried charging me double twice!!! I'm so grateful I had my own receipt
