Bonanza Casino

The short version

What visitors say about Bonanza Casino

The Bonanza is a North Virginia Street locals casino with a western look, no hotel and no table games, just slots, a bar and a busy set of restaurants. People come for the one pound burger, milkshakes in unusual flavors, breakfast and the themed buffets, and staff in the cage, the cafe and the bar get a lot of personal thanks. Cactus Creek is the sit down option for birthdays and happy hour appetizers, though one couple found the entrees underseasoned. Longtime visitors say it is far less smoky than it used to be.

Food quality is where it slips. Buffet diners have found the hot dishes served cold, holiday meals have disappointed, and some late night orders came out wrong with little help from the server. A couple of guests also complain that the ATM or a cash advance charged them without paying out.
