Tamarack sits far down South Virginia Street on Reno's south end and has the feel of a neighborhood hangout: often quiet on weekdays, busier on Friday and Saturday evenings and raffle days. The restaurants earn most of the praise. The steakhouse gets high marks for attentive waiters and nicely cooked fish, though not every prime rib lands, and the cafe turns out breakfast and comfort food at fair prices. This place is awesome. Expert service from bartending and eatery areas. Turn me blind and as happy as a lamb to slaughter cause the machines are kicking my butt yet I pay no mind due to the spaghetti and meatballs having my full attention. Date night well spent.

Brought dad here for breakfast and the security guard walked us all the way to the restaurant rather than just pointing. Very very much appreciated and we had a wonderful breakfast. Our waitress was kind and attentive to all of her customers and the casino was clean and accommodating. We will definitely be baxk.
