The short version

What visitors say about Bordertown Casino and RV Resort

Bordertown sits on US 395 north of Reno, near the California line, and for many travelers it is an RV stop first. The park is small and very tidy, with paved sites that each get a patch of grass and a tree, a shaded picnic area and room for dogs. Sites are close together, and owners of long fifth wheels have found their spot tight or been moved to another. The restaurant earns loyal praise for friendly servers and diner favorites like a Monte Cristo and a vegetarian omelet.

The casino is a slot room with a local, working crowd, and one regular warns that the smoke follows you home on your clothes. Recent reviews single out the bar, where several groups say they were treated rudely and served weak drinks.

It's nice and quiet even though the 395 isn't too far away. There is a casino , currently being expanded, as well as a…

Great stop. The campground is very well kept. The spot I was in was a bit tight for my 40 ft fifth wheel. The casino was fun with lots of slots. The reasturant is amazing! Lots of choices and very friendly staff. This is one of the few places you can get a real authentic Monty Cristo sandwich.

Had a bad experience at the bar. The bartender Sue was unprofessional and made us feel unwelcome while we were gambling. We also felt the drinks were poorly made. I’ve spent money here before and expected better service. I hope management
