  • Spacious RV sites behind the casino

The short version

What visitors say about Gold Ranch Casino

Gold Ranch is the gas station casino at Verdi, just off Interstate 80 on the way to or from California. Inside are rows of slot machines, a cafe and a coffee bar, and behind it sits an RV park that campers like for its big grassy sites, clean showers and mountain backdrop. Staff are generally friendly. The complaints are about the machines, which regular players say rarely hit, about slow drink service at the bar and on the floor, and about restaurant and store prices that feel high even for a roadside stop. Free play offers come with fine print: one player signed up for a match that turned out to be good only that day.

I stop coming here because you just don't win or get bonus on most of the machines. Workers are nice but some are Meh! Skip this place and just stop somewhere in town or wait until you hit sacramento. You…

So it's not really a big casino. It's great for its size. Inside has nothing but lots of slot machines. I had a great time. So far, 3 Jacpots have been paid out all 3 nights that I've been there for. I'm trying to go bi-weekly for this

I went on Sunday Morning 620 am

I understand that not full staffed but I was at the bar playing an hour and a half no one came.... not one... to see if I needed anything that's not the Friendly Service they advertise
