  • Spacious rooms for the price
  • Friendly bell and front desk staff

The short version

What visitors say about Harrah's Las Vegas

Harrah's sells on price and position. It sits mid Strip within walking distance of the Venetian and the Sphere, and repeat guests say few places nearby match its rates. Rooms are roomy but plain, fine for people who plan to be out until it's time to sleep, and the bell staff and some front desk agents earn warm mentions.

Upkeep is the weak spot. Reviewers describe dusty rooms, dirty carpets, stained bedding, doorless showers that flood the bathroom floor, and nonsmoking rooms that smelled of cigarettes or weed. There's no fridge, and coffee in the room costs extra. Check in lines run long, often because the kiosks are down. Housekeeping skips rooms, walls are thin, the pool keeps short hours, and several guests ended up with a worse view or a different tower than they booked.

The wait time for checking in was way longer than expected for a “high end” casino. 2 people checking in a line up of 14 guests isn’t enough. The room was a really nice size, but the vacuuming needs more attention, the bedsheets were dirty and the mattress protector was stained. The water pressure in the shower was…

Response from the owner

Your feedback is invaluable to us, Dave. We regret the check-in wait, cleanliness concerns, and housekeeping privacy issue. We're glad you enjoyed the room size and casino experience.

The hotel has a great location and likely the best price around. The room was nice and spacious, the only issue was it had no fridge which wasnt a deal breaker but would've helped. Early check-in is $50 but I recommend leave your page with luggage services which is free and they hold it for up to 24hrs with no hotel…

Just checked in and Dom at the front desk was the smoothest check in we have ever had! He is amazing! We are staying in the Mountain Tower and we love how convenient Harrah’s is to everything! We come to Vegas regularly and always look to stay here first! Thanks for an awesome start to our trip Dom!

Well what can I say? Was great experience, few things though. Showers, water fluctuations are crazy, want a long hit shower, but don't count on it, floors will get wet, just do not slip... you will get lost. That's a fact, so try to get your directions well. Take video, will help got lost at vip valet trying to get to third floor and only 1 elevator had level3... lol.

Response from the owner

Thank you, Mark! We hope to welcome you back for another great visit. We appreciate your patronage and hope to see you at Harrah's Las Vegas soon.

Hair in our sink when we checked in. The pillows smelled like old man dirty head! None of the kiosks work! No refrigerator in the rooms. Coffee maker but no coffee or cups. The pool closes at 6 pm!! Hotel needs updated, quit being cheap and spend some money on your hotel!! Won't be back!! I guess you get what you pay for. Bell people were amazing!

Response from the owner

We appreciate your feedback. We recognize how finding hair in the sink and unclean room conditions upon check-in affected your experience and the expectations you had.

I came to Las Vegas to celebrate my 40th birthday with my family. We reserved three rooms, and while the other members of my family received better rooms with nicer views, I was given the worst view and a room that smells strongly like

Harrah's was probably a good hotel 15 years ago or so, but now it's really old and run down. I've been in the hospitality industry for 20 years and I've had better service at a Hampton. The front desk and bell staff are the face of the hotel, yet the front desk is rude, not welcoming, poorly trained and frankly just…

Awful. This location is absolutely terrible. Reserved a “Mountain View” room and was put in a room that overlooked the side of a beige building and the rooftop of another. Property is very dated. The room I was assigned was TINY and the AC

I stayed at Harrah‘s for a week for my birthday. It was the most disgusting place I have been to. I don’t normally like writing reviews like this, but I have to. We asked for a non-smoking room. The room smells like cigarettes. We told them at the front desk when we checked in that we wanted housekeeping every day and…
