The short version
The Venetian is the resort people photograph. Reviewers keep coming back to the painted ceilings, the marble, the indoor canals and the gondolas, and several say it feels like an attraction before it feels like a casino. Rooms are suites, and guests describe them as big, clean and comfortable, often with good Strip views. There are enough restaurants, shops and pools that some guests barely left, and the Sphere is next door.
The size cuts both ways, and first timers admit to getting lost. Rooms have no coffee maker and usually no fridge, and a couple of guests were billed for refreshments or smoking fees they say they never incurred. Prices on property run high. Housekeeping lapses and slow check in account for most of the other complaints, and one guest found nearly every pool lounger reserved.

Review is solely on parking (south parking structure) and ease of getting to it. Pretty horrible we were late to the show because of it. Show started at 8 and we arrived to the resort around 7:15. Prepare for aggressive locals, californians and taxi drivers.
