Plenty of people still call this the Cromwell. It has been redone under Lisa Vanderpump's name, and the makeover gets most of the attention: plush rooms, dramatic decor and staff who go out of their way. It's small by Strip standards and sits mid Strip, a short walk from Caesars and Bellagio. The lobby bar, Gigolo, draws praise even from people staying elsewhere.

The moody look doesn't suit everyone. Several guests found their rooms dark and dimly lit, and noise from the street and nearby bars carries late into the night. Housekeeping draws complaints, from rooms that were dirty on arrival to stays where nobody cleaned for days, and check in can be slow. The few gamblers who wrote in were less charmed, citing an unfriendly dealer and no drink service at the slots.

A Truly Exceptional Las Vegas Experience

I left Las Vegas wishing I had experienced even more of The Vanderpump Hotel! This was a special mother-daughter trip, and although we stayed at another hotel during our visit, both my daughter and I were absolutely captivated by The Vanderpump Hotel.

Just an AMAZING revamp from The Cromwell. Now, this isn't a huge spacious casino hotel...there's only 188 rooms. However, the size brings an intimacy and charm that's hard to beat. This property has Lisa Vanderpump's touches all over it!

I have to give shout out to few people on this visit! Leona from housekeeping was so sweet and always had a smile on her face... she made sure I had everything I needed to be comfortable... also a few of the bartenders at gigolo, Ron,Marty, and Robert were great! Those guys were so much fun that I kept coming back....…

The Cromwell ended up being one of my favorite hotel stays in Las Vegas. If you’re looking for a peaceful stay anywhere on the strip, avoid staying close to The Vanderpump unless you plan on being up all night. I understand this is Vegas, so obviously there’s going to be noise, but this was honestly next level.

Room was DIRTY. White socks turn brown on the bottom walking across the floor. Bed frame the bed sits on was filthy. Pillows smelled like sweat. Rooms are old and dimly lit, but if clean, they would have been fine. Check in took forever.

I can not understand how this is rated 4.5 stars! Tiny dark room, coffee maker doesn’t come with coffee! I have to go buy it or pay $15 a pod. I feel so misled. I’m so bummed! I was looking forward to this trip! I hate this place. Cosmopolitan was the complete opposite….wish we were there.
