Location carries Planet Hollywood. It sits mid Strip, and guests like walking to neighboring resorts, restaurants and shops, with the mall right downstairs. Guests like their views over the Strip, and a couple of guests could see the Sphere or the Bellagio fountains, though one paid extra for a fountain view that turned out to be a sliver from the corner of a window.

Nearly every review is about the hotel, and upkeep is the recurring problem. Toilets that barely flush or overflow show up in four reviews, along with weak air conditioning, a sink that wouldn't drain and maintenance crews that take close to an hour to arrive. Check in lines of nearly two hours, unfriendly front desk staff, a pool that closes in the late afternoon and a daily resort fee also draw complaints. The few table players who posted were unhappy with how pit staff treated them.

Giovanni who checked us in was awesome. Flawless customer service.

The rooms are always great here. The beds are tough to beat. Love the convenience of walking downstairs to the mall with walkable distance to most things on the strip. One of our favorite hotels to stay at. Also enjoyed the view of the sphere from our room.

Really enjoyed staying at Planet Hollywood. The location is probably the best part. It’s right in the middle of the Strip, so it’s easy to walk to nearby hotels, restaurants, shops, and attractions.
